The Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Tourismus Baden-Württemberg (Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. Consequently, we have taken measures to ensure that we are compliant with data protection rules.

What personal data do we record and where does the data come from?

The categories of personal data processed include the following in particular:

  • Your master data (such as first name, surname, titles and functions)
  • Contact details (address, (mobile) phone number, e-mail address)
  • Photos and videos.

Your personal data will always be collected from you directly when you contact us or when you register for our events.

For what purpose and on what legal basis does data processing take place?

We process your personal data in accordance with the rules of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and of the

LDSG (“Landesdatenschutzgesetz”: State Data Protection Law).

Data processing takes place primarily for the purpose of organising and holding the event organised by us for which you have registered. Photos and video recordings of the event maybe be published online or in one of our publications for PR purposes. The primary legal basis for this is provided by Article 4 LDSG in conjunction with Article 6 No. 1 (e) GDPR.

In addition, consent given by you separately pursuant to Article 6 No. 1 (a), Article 7 GDPR may be used as consent under data protection regulations

How long is your data stored for?

We delete your personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes. Your data will also be deleted if you make use of your right to revoke consent or to object. If you have not given us consent to store your data for the purpose of informing you of and inviting you to events organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing Baden-Württemberg, your data will be deleted once the event has taken place. We have in place a deletion concept with regular inspections of the data sets in order to ensure that the data is deleted.
